sometimes basements go unchecked in daily life with so much going on we forget to keep an eye on our homes, well here when it rains it pours...

Our customer here had a flood prior to this one in which they had a self draining floor system installed, in theory it would have worked in dry areas. Here soil clogged the fluid drains which was due to bad grading redirecting water and soil/debris into the home, causing pooling and high moisture build up.

We are not saying self draining floors don't work, you have to fix the "root of the problem" (Pun not intended)
